Wilbur was snickering coldly inside at Roanne's behavior. People like her were completely driven by social status. Nancy would only be on the losing end if she maintained a relationship with Roanne.

Roanne pretended to do something nice for Nancy's sake and introduced her to a potential suitor. However, Roanne's real goal was to make an arrangement for her son. She troubled Nancy multiple times for that.

When Roanne noticed that the tables were turned, she started acting friendly again. She only wanted to use him.

Wilbur instantly said, "Madam Drew, we're not related, so stop acting so friendly with me. Goodbye."

Wilbur broke her delusions with one sentence. He also said that for everyone to hear, in case some of them misunderstood. He would not allow her to use his name behind his back.

Roanne instantly froze up. She looked very displeased.

Chase was surprised for a moment, then smiled softly.

Nancy waved her parents goodbye and they drove away in Wilbur's car.

Chase and the others immediately made their way toward Harvest Food Factory.

Harold woke up after he passed out. He frantically took out his phone to call for help.

Chase and the others arrived at the food factory and showed their permit. They started their inspection when they headed inside.

Jason and the others followed behind them, sweating bullets the entire time.

Chase pretentiously strolled around. He frowned and said, "Serious issues with hygiene standards, and the equipment aren't up to par. This requires an immediate shutdown."

"Yes, sir," said his subordinates.

Chase looked towards Jason and said coldly, "As the general manager, you have undeniable legal responsibility for this. Come with us for an investigation. You'll be legally responsible if the issues are serious."

"Chief Brigado, it's not that serious, right?" Jason asked in a panic.

"Not that serious?" Chase sneered coldly and said, "Do you think food safety is a minor concern? It's simply impossible for you to produce with the hygiene conditions and equipment situation in your factory. But you do have an uncle, so I suppose you've found a way around it. However, since I'm here this time, you can just wait and see."

Chase turned and left after saying that. His subordinates began placing seals on each piece of equipment.

Nancy did not look up. She said, "You know, I shouldn't have said that you were my boyfriend."

"Oh, that's alright. You were only trying to get rid of Jason. It's not a big deal," Wilbur replied.

Nancy took a deep breath and glanced at Wilbur. She smiled and said, "Yeah, but I still have to thank you. Also, please never tell Miss Yves about this. She'll be very upset."

Wilbur silently nodded.

Nancy instantly looked sad in the eyes.

Wilbur basically admitted that he was in a relationship with Faye.

She felt an overwhelming feeling of disappointment that she could not get rid of.

It was evening by the time they returned to Seechertown. Wilbur dropped Nancy off at her house.

She got out of the car and smiled joyously, saying, "Thanks, Mister Penn."
